Browser storage
We also keep a few values in your browser’s local storage. These stay on your device, are never sent to anyone else, and are not used for tracking.
nf-auth-hint
Notes whether you were signed in, so the navigation renders correctly right away on your next visit.
theme
Saves the app theme you chose on your account page.
nightfold-admin-theme
Saves the editor theme preference for staff accounts.
nf-save-nudge-dismissed
Remembers that you dismissed a one-time hint in the player.
Payments
Subscription checkout happens on Stripe’s own site. While you are there, Stripe may set its own cookies under its own policies; see the Stripe Privacy Policy. We never see or store your card details.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist for advertising and analytics cookies. Because every cookie we set is strictly necessary for the Services to work, or records a preference you chose yourself, no consent banner is required and we do not show one.
How to control cookies
You can view, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because our cookies are essential, blocking or deleting them will sign you out and may prevent parts of the Services from working.
Changes to this policy
If our use of cookies changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
